Nagawa Irene (also known as simply Mirembe) is a Ugandan entrepreneur, interior designer, and digital media personality. She is the Founder and CEO of Mirembe Beddings & Curtains and the Founder and CEO of MBC TV Uganda, two fast-growing brands that showcase her vision, creativity, and leadership.

Born on August 28, 1997, in Kampala, Uganda, Nagawa Irene grew up in Buikwe District. From modest beginnings including early jobs in her brother's garage and selling curtains she transformed her passion for design into a thriving career. A major breakthrough came when her interior design work attracted international attention, landing her a UGX 70 million project in Nairobi, Kenya.

Today, Nagawa Irene leads a fully registered company, Mirembe Beddings & Curtains, employing over 40 people and completing more than 50 high-profile projects across Uganda and Kenya, including hotels, schools, and apartments.

Beyond décor, she is also the visionary behind MBC TV Uganda, a digital media platform focused on lifestyle, business, love, and real-life success stories. Through this channel, Irene empowers youth and amplifies voices that inspire change.
